Western Design Architect's first Class Q agricultural conversion of a barn to a house in Lydlinch, Dorset.
The approval of this conversion from an agricultural barn to a house was the first to be passed by the council in North Dorset which took advantage of the Class Q prior approval process.
The original brick barn was thoughtfully converted with vaulted ceilings, creating a spacious internal layout. The project also incorporates photovoltaic panels on the roof and wood burning stove to provide sustainable power and heating. All principal rooms have magnificent views across the Dorset countryside.
