Using Class Q Permitted Development Rights to change the use of agricultural buildings into residential use, a former agricultural barn was successfully converted into three new single storey houses in open countryside near Horton, Dorset.

Converted from a single existing agricultural building, each property is clad with horizontal timber board over a red brick plinth with a metal sheet roof. Large windows offer magnificent views across the Dorset countryside. Architectural details such as metal gutters and downpipes, doors and window frames are all finished in dark grey in keeping with its agricultural setting.
Parking is provided for each unit with a low maintenance shared landscape.
