‘Mill Race’ is a large family home located in a small village in Wiltshire. With construction complete, the house fully furnished and the sun shining, we sent professional photographer Jack Lodge to take a look.
The house is looking fantastic and we are delighted with the results!
Crisp detailing showcases the quality materials, including Shaftesbury Greensand Stone, black timber cladding, standing seam zinc roof and plain clay roof tiles.
Constructed from Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF), the house is highly energy efficient and requires minimal input from the air source heat pump to maintain a constant comfortable temperature. The concrete has no joints and provides an unbroken thermal envelope with the two layers of rigid insulation.
The interior is light, airy and spacious and is beautifully decorated. Dark blue hues add interest and warmth throughout the home and accentuate the clean lines and polished concrete floor.
