WDA are pleased to have gained a Class MA prior approval consent to convert a redundant two storey commercial office building into 15 residential apartments in Swindon.
New landscaping and improved parking support the scheme, resulting in biodiversity enhancements on site and a more fluid and accessible development linking the industrial estate with the surrounding residential area.
WDA worked closely with planners to ensure the scheme accorded with key planning policies, including Paragraph 124d of the NPPF which promotes and supports the development of under-utilised land and buildings, especially if this would help to meet identified needs for housing where land supply is constrained.
