Civic Trust Awards – Region Finalist
We are delighted to confirm that the Welcome Centre at Upton Country Park has made it thorough the first round and has been announced as a 2024 Civic Trust Awards Regional Finalist.
Regional Finalists are schemes which are of significant merit in their region, contributing to the quality and appearance of the built environment, whilst being sustainable, accessible, and providing a positive civic contribution.
The new landmark building serves as a new ’front door’ to the country park, connecting visitors with the wider park. The centre offers an opportunity to learn more about the parks heritage using interactive and immersive displays which will bring the park’s history to life.
We look forward to finding out if we have won an award in January 2024.
