Extension Architects

Moving home can be expensive, stressful and difficult, often as a result of the lack of suitable homes available.

Your home might not take full advantage of the site, or you may simply want to make improvements but it may not be obvious to you how best to achieve this. We work closely with you, allowing us to explore all the options and opportunities for improving your house. Adding an extension or remodelling is an ideal opportunity to redesign and renovate your existing home to create something special, to suit your individual requirements.

Endless possibilities

Adding a room in the roof, a stylish kitchen, modern extension or an annexe could all be options subject to the relevant local planning legislation and permitted development rights (PD).

As RIBA accredited Conservation Architects, Western Design are experienced in renovating historic, sensitive and listed buildings including the addition of contemporary extensions.

It is important to remember that unlike new build houses (which are zero rated), if you are making alterations to an existing building, it may be subject to VAT on building costs.

We work closely with you to explore all the options and opportunities for improving your house.”
